At Jyoti Publication, we deal primarily in educational books, eBooks, PDFs, and digital learning resources. Due to the nature of our products, we follow a strict refund and cancellation policy as outlined below.
1. General Policy
All purchases made through our website are considered final. Customers are advised to read the product description, format details, and terms carefully before placing an order.
2. Digital Products (eBooks, PDFs, QR-Based Content)
All digital products are non-refundable and non-cancellable once:
- The download link has been delivered
- The file has been accessed or downloaded
- QR-based digital resources have been activated
This is in accordance with standard digital content policies, as digital products cannot be returned once delivered.
3. Physical Books (Paperback / Printed Material)
Refunds or replacements for physical books are applicable only under the following conditions:
- Book received is physically damaged
- Incorrect book delivered
- Pages missing or major printing defects
Any such issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery along with clear photos or video evidence of the issue.
4. Cases Where Refunds Are NOT Applicable
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Customer dissatisfaction after reading the content
- Expectation mismatch regarding syllabus coverage
- Claim that content is “not university-specific”
- Claim that content is AI-assisted or structured differently
- Failure in examination or non-selection
- Incorrect purchase made by the customer
- Change of mind after order confirmation
5. Cancellation Policy
Order cancellation requests will be considered only if the request is made before the order is processed or shipped.
Once a digital product is delivered or a physical book is shipped, cancellation is not possible.
6. Processing of Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved after verification, the amount will be processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
Shipping & Handling Deduction
In cases where a refund or return of a physical book is approved for reasons other than printing defects, damage, or incorrect delivery, a fixed amount of ₹200 (Rupees Two Hundred) shall be deducted towards forward and return shipping, handling, and logistics charges.
This deduction covers courier costs already incurred and is applicable only to physical book orders. No shipping deduction applies to cases involving damaged, defective, or wrongly delivered products.
7. Responsibility of the Buyer
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify:
- Exam name and course details
- Product format (eBook or paperback)
- Scope and nature of content
Failure to read the product description or policies does not qualify for a refund.
8. Right to Reject Refund Requests
Jyoti Publication reserves the right to reject refund or cancellation requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
9. Legal Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts only.
